The area is also known as Emporium as the high-end department store “the Emporium” is located there. Restaurants and bars lie scattered along the sois located within the area especially in Sukhumvit Soi 33, which is a narrow lane opposite the store. Soi 33 is filled with popular restaurants and has a reputation for its upmarket entertainment establishments.

	The Emporium Department Store A luxurious mall with large numbers of brandname shops is outstanding to the eyes on Sukhumvit road adjacent to soi 24. It is an ideal place for shopping lovers.
Queen’s Park Queen’s Park, also known as Benchasiri Park, was opened in honour of HM Queen Sirikit’s 60th birthday. It is a well-designed park about which the opinion of Thai people had been sought before it was actually built. It is a nice small park (11.6 acres) in the heart of the city. Many amenities such as a health garden, a children’s playground, a skating rink, and basketball and ta-kraw courts are provided there . The park opens daily from 05.00-20.00 hrs.
