The legend of Mandarin Hotel began in 1965. The Mandarin building in its exemplary white was built and officially opened in 1968. Since its inauguration, the hotel had become a famous luxury destination for both leisure and business travellers. In 1981 the hotel had undergone refurbishing and a new wing, Princess wing, had been added. The Mandarin Hotel, therefore, is divided into two wings, the Mandarin original wing and the Princess wing.

All along, the Mandarin Hotel has earned an unsurpassed recognition as a luxury hotel, impressing guests from all over the world with its charm and hospitality. The Mandarin Hotel has been praised by its service, convenient access, comfortable atmosphere and above all, warm and sincerity, for over 45 years. At the same time, the hotel meets the expanding need of its guests through expansion, renovation and innovation.

The Mandarin Hotel invested a large amount of money for a major renovation in 2012 which included exterior and interior decorations, brand new guest rooms, function rooms, restaurants and other facilities to accommodate modern lifestyles and functionality. The renovation has been completed and the operation commenced once again on October 9, 2013.

Presently, with the new look and decor, the hotel is not only modernized but luxurious and comfortable as well. We are pleased to welcome you to experience the famous Thai hospitality which the Mandarin is known for.
