We'll take you the Jim Thomson's Thai House (King of Thai Silk; and Suan Pakkard Palace which was opened to public in 1959,famous for its several lacquer pavillions. Moreover, it contains many collections of ancient Thai arts and artifacts. (also known as the Lacquer Pavillion).
The Jim Thompson House is the home of James H.W. Thompson, a self-made American entrepreneur who was the founder of the world renowned Jim Thompson Thai Silk Company. Thompson's achievements during his 25 year stay in the Kingdom of Thailand have won him much fame as the "Legendary American of Thailand".
Suan Pakkard Palace : The museum itself consists of 4 groups of traditional Thai houses connected by raised walkway. Houses 5 to 8 are located along the west of the Palace. The Lacquer Pavilion stands on the south at the end of the main garden. The Ban-Chiang and Marsi Gallery are located in the Chumbhot-Pantip collection of prehistoric artifacts Center of Arts.
